(Ephesians 5:8)
Parents, leaders, and educators, we have a mission, a duty to lead children's souls toward the Light which will be their guide and their happiness. In order to illuminate the way that lies before each one of us, once a week we invite you to discover some of the words of certain wisemen and witnesses, measuring their worth by the words of St. Thomas Aquinas: “Do not consider the one who speaks, but whatever good you hear from him, confide it to your memory.” (from The Sixteen Ways to Acquire the Treasure of Knowledge by St. Thomas). Happy reading!
“In our time, more than ever, novelty is to be found in respect and fidelity.”

“It was then that the event which was to dominate my whole life happened. In an instant, my heart was touched and I believed. I believed, with such a force of adhesion, such a lifting up of my being, a conviction so strong, and a certitude which left no place for the smallest doubt, that, since that moment, all books, all reasoning, all the random circumstances of my agitated life, were incapable of shaking my faith, or, truth be told, even touching it. I suddenly had the heartrending sense of the innocence and the eternal childhood of God — an ineffable revelation. When I try to reconstitute the minutes which followed this extraordinary instant, as I often do, I fall upon the following elements which nevertheless remain united in a single flash, a single touch which Divine Providence used to finally reach and to open the heart of a poor, desperate child: “People who believe are so happy! — And what if it were really true? — It is true! — God exists, He is here. He is someone, a being as personal as myself! — He loves me, He is calling me.” Tears and sobs came, and the song Adeste Fidelis which followed so tenderly added even more to my emotion.”
