In the Nièvre department, between the Loire river and the Yonne, between the toll motorways A6 and A77, at an equal distance from Auxerre, Nevers or Bourges, near Vézelay, Saint-Fargeau and Guédelon, a castle, which is surrounded by moats filled with water, is hidden at the foot of a forest.
