(Ephesians 5:8)
Parents, leaders, and educators, we have a mission, a duty to lead children's souls toward the Light which will be their guide and their happiness. In order to illuminate the way that lies before each one of us, once a week we invite you to discover some of the words of certain wisemen and witnesses, measuring their worth by the words of St. Thomas Aquinas: “Do not consider the one who speaks, but whatever good you hear from him, confide it to your memory.” (from The Sixteen Ways to Acquire the Treasure of Knowledge by St. Thomas). Happy reading!
Oh! Brothers, never expose your children to losing the grace of God; on the contrary, understand the honor you have been given to watch over Jesus Christ in watching over your children. Saving France is, above all, saving the education of youth and reviving the establishment of Truth in the souls of children.

“You have become guardians and directors of the divine life in these children; and in the evening of your life, Eternal Love and Eternal Justice will ask for an account of the education you have given to these little ones, of your example and words spoken towards these innocent and inexperienced souls. You will have to explain why they could not naively contemplate the crucifix above the hearth and the statue of the Blessed Virgin. You will have to admit why you did not watch over their prayer life, their catechism, their readings. You will have to render account for the education given or – more exactly – for the lack of education, this scourge of modern family life. There, the child is no longer a child; he is a tyrant. He does not obey, he refuses. He does not follow directives, he chooses. He doesn’t work, he has fun. Everything in his comportment and in his words is tolerated; and when he is twenty, forced to confront such insubordination, parents come to us and beg us to repair the irreperable. We will have to render account to God concerning the underlying reasons for these guilty neglects.”
